Introduction
He continues to work mainly related to his daily life in South Ayshire, the artist's hometown. In particular, he is mainly an autobiographical work that reflects the artist's subsequent studies of the region and memories in the Maypole region. He tries to explore the subtle differences and boundaries between humor and the evil through painting, and basically, the world he painted contains a daily story in rural Scotland. Sometimes, he self-reflects on his own experiences that tell the story of life based on folklore, local customs, and the artist's gaze. In a sense, the artist goes back to this place of nostalgia and re-examines the world he is now. Therefore, the place in the artist's painting becomes a space where two people meet, old memories, and the reality of modern life take place. Regarding his work, the artist tells us, "Our world has been more interconnected than ever, and that's a good thing. But there is a real value in slowing down time and getting back in touch with our roots," reminding us of what we have forgotten.
